The Sai Kung Hoi Arts Festival returns for its 2024-2025 edition, running from November 13, 2024, to January 12, 2025, offering a unique blend of art and nature across Sai Kung.
Known as Hong Kong’s back garden, Sai Kung is celebrated for its stunning geological landscapes and natural coastlines, making it the perfect backdrop for this immersive festival.
Launched in 2022, this three-year festival brings art installations inspired by the lives of islanders and local culture. The 2024 theme, "Joy Again, Isle," continues this exploration, allowing visitors to connect with the ecological and cultural histories of the region. Festivalgoers can discover art installations and public programs across several scenic locations, including Yim Tin Tsai, Sharp Island, High Island, and Kau Sai Chau.
Each site offers a unique storytelling experience, with art pieces reflecting the natural beauty, traditions, and heritage of the islands. Whether you're drawn to the salt-making history of Yim Tin Tsai or the breathtaking rock formations on Sharp Island, this festival provides a rich and healing journey through art and nature.
