TEDxTinHau Women 2024

TEDxTinHau Women returns for its eighth year this December, featuring 10 remarkable speakers who will take the stage and invite us to set our minds "in motion" as they challenge perspectives and propel us into thought-provoking discussions.

This year's theme bounces off TED’s new official slogan, “Ideas Change Everything.” This meaningful event believes that ideas thrive in motion; they rebound, collide, and merge to form something great. They gain momentum when shared and continuously evolve. In a city renowned for its vibrant energy, diverse voices and cultures, Hong Kong serves as the perfect backdrop for a gathering that celebrates the momentum of ideas.

Launched in 2009, TEDx is a program of locally organized events that bring the community together to share a TED-like experience. Some of the best talks from TEDx events have gone on to be featured on TED.com and garnered millions of views from audiences across the globe. The name, TEDxTinHau Women, pays homage to Tin Hau, the Chinese Goddess of the Sea, and recognizes Hong Kong’s unique coastal and spiritual history.
