Turn an ordinary afternoon into an exciting nature adventure at the Macro Ecology Photography Workshop, taking place on Sept. 20, Oct. 25, and Nov. 8, 2026, and Jan. 10 and Feb. 14, 2027, from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, at Saiyuen in Cheung Chau. Specially designed for children aged six and above and their parents, this family-friendly experience combines photography, ecological discovery, and hands-on exploration in an engaging outdoor setting.

Through guided activities, families are encouraged to think like citizen scientists while using their smartphones to capture fascinating plants, insects, and natural textures found throughout Saiyuen.
Each session lasts approximately three hours and includes equipment rental for each group, a waiver of Saiyuen’s HK$48 admission fee, and complimentary access to explore the park beyond workshop hours. Participation fees are priced at HK$560 for a two-person family and HK$680 for a three-person family. Private group bookings are also available for groups of at least four families.
