The Foundry Presents: Canton Night Takeover

Canto Night Takeover, co-presented by The Orientalist Spirits & Altos, returns to Asia’s 50 Best Bars with a celebration at the 130-year-old Ser Wong Fun in SoHo. The event highlights Cantonese heritage and flavors, featuring four renowned bartenders: Lola Lau (Hope & Sesame Guangzhou/Shenzhen), Samuel Kwok (The Opposite, Hong Kong), Tiger Irene Leung (CMYK, Changsha), and Gavin Yeung (Kinsman, Hong Kong). This stellar lineup will create an unforgettable evening of back-to-back double guest shifts, blending traditional Cantonese flavors with modern cocktail artistry.

Sponsored by The Orientalist Spirits & Altos Tequila, with support from Perrier Hong Kong, the event also features bar bites curated by Asia’s 50 Best Female Chef, May Chow (Little Bao). Adding to the vibrant atmosphere, local Canto Disco veteran DJ Fabsabs will spin funky tracks throughout the evening.

The Foundry Asia’s previous Bar Takeover at Singapore’s World’s 50 Best Bars saw tremendous success, with appearances by Hong Kong bar icons such as Jay Khan, Beckaly Franks, Antonio Lai, and Gagan Gurung. This year’s event promises to be an even bigger celebration of the growth and evolution of the cocktail scene in Asia.
