Pearl Lam Galleries in Hong Kong is set to host the highly anticipated solo exhibition, "Mr Doodle in Space," showcasing the remarkable talents of British artist Mr Doodle. This captivating exhibition invites art enthusiasts of all ages to join Mr. and Mrs. Doodle on an exciting journey through the vast expanse of space on their voyage back home to ‘DoodleLand.’

Following their love story in the previous exhibition, "Mr Doodle in Love," Mr. and Mrs. Doodle are now happily residing in their Doodle House with their faithful companion, Doodle Dog. Together, they are gradually filling planet Earth with their delightful doodles.

However, their peaceful existence is disrupted when they hear disturbances from Mr. Doodle's evil twin, Dr. Scribble, who is flying into a vortex created by his scribbling machines. This vortex leads to another galaxy known as the 'Paper Galaxy,' which houses the famous DoodleLand, Mr. Doodle's home world. Dr. Scribble's sinister plan is to destroy Mr. Doodle's 'Doodle Virus' at its source, aiming to rid the universe of doodles once and for all.

Mr. Doodle himself will also make an appearance in the city to promote his "Mr Doodle in Space" exhibition, offering two live doodling performances. One will be held at the K11 Art & Cultural Centre on Nov. 17, and the other will take place next to Exit C of the Hong Kong MTR station on Nov. 19.

British artist Sam Cox, widely known as Mr. Doodle, was born in Kent, England, in 1994. He initially began doodling on his parents' furniture, then his bedroom, and eventually transformed the world around him into a canvas. Throughout his career, Mr. Doodle has created a unique visual phenomenon, DoodleLand, where he brings his vision of the world to life. He produces mesmerizing and intricate clusters of characters, objects, and patterns that continuously multiply.
