Exclusive Peek at Giuseppe Zanotti’s Luxe Take on the Be@rbrick for Summer

In a meeting of high-end fashion and pop culture, luxury Italian footwear brand Giuseppe Zanotti, has been selected by Japan’s Medicom Toy to reimagine the iconic Be@rbrick toy for its 2023 interactive summer event at the Galaxy Macau.

More than a mere plaything, Be@rbrick has metamorphosed into a symbol of modern design, spanning across culture, fashion, art, and music. Its bear-shaped figure, often embellished with various pop culture and artistic collaborations, has cemented its status as a sought-after collector’s item within the fashion and design world.

For this coveted event, designer Giuseppe Zanotti has crafted a striking Be@rbrick design. Adorned with silver ears and paws against a glossy black base, this unique toy features the design’s signature micro-crystal illustrations artfully applied across the face and feet. Zanotti’s branding graces the front and stretches down the back of the figure, making it a true collector’s piece.

“More than just a toy, Be@rbrick is a symbol of modern design. I wanted to create an object that aligned with my design ethos – playful and of the moment, but also sophisticated and glamourous,” says Zanotti.

The Giuseppe Zanotti bespoke Be@rbrick will debut on July 31, and will be available in three sizes. The event, now in its fifth year, will feature interactive exhibits, workshops, and celebrity collaborations, making it the highlights of the summer’s luxury events calendar.
