Niessing Celebrates 150th Anniversary with Opening of ELEMENTS Boutique
Niessing, a renowned German jewellery brand has launched its latest Hong Kong flagship boutique at ELEMENTS in Kowloon. This comes as a double celebration for the brand’s milestone of hitting its 150 years anniversary, having been crafting innovative jewellery since 1873.
At the new boutique, visitors can explore Niessing's collections, including ready-to-wear pieces, and the wedding band configurator system that allows customers to design bespoke jewellery representing their personal style.
The brand offers a diverse range of gold shades, including the newly added ‘Supla Grenadine’, which joins the collection of 15 shades of nature-inspired gold carefully curated by Niessing's designers and goldsmiths.
"Hong Kong has always been an important market to Niessing. It is a vibrant and dynamic market that is home to individuals with a strong appreciation for fine jewellery and craftsmanship. Our goal is to make Niessing synonymous with luxury pieces that mark momentous occasions and to connect with a wider range of clientele while showcasing our leading German craftsmanship," said Sandro Erl, CEO of Niessing.
One of the boutique's standout features is the "Love Wall," which pays tribute to Niessing's traditional technique of punch marking, and the German-style of craftsmanship central to its design philosophy. The wall features copper plates with fine grooves, letters, and images, arranged as art using a hammer and punch. The technique is still used today at Niessing's manufactory in Vreden, Germany.
The Spannring® collection, which has become an iconic line for Niessing, will welcome new additions to the Spannring® Era collection in celebration of the 150th anniversary.
