If you’re a fan of Netflix’s “Drink Masters” or the 2022 reality show “Mixology Masters,” great news! Hong Kong’s vibrant mixology scene has arrived on the small screen, as the city’s first cocktail competition, “Master Mixologist,” is now available on streaming platform ViuTV.
Premiered on June 10, the reality competition show features 32 participants, from experienced mixologists to newbies and enthusiasts, who will compete for the title of “Master Mixologist” over the course of 10 episodes.
In each episode, with a running time of about 45 minutes, the participants will showcase their skills in crafting cocktails based on different themes and challenges. The first three jam-packed episodes already presented team battles and food and wine pairing challenges, among others.
The show also features some of the biggest names in Hong Kong’s mixology scene, including award-winning mixologists Antonio Lai of Quinary and Jay Khan of COA as judges, as well as wine and whisky columnist Cecilia Wong.
“Master Mixologist,” hosted by Alton Yue and Florica Lin, airs from Monday to Friday at 9:30 PM. Watch it here and find out who will take the crown!
