Hey, anime and manga fans! Get ready to witness Hiromu Arakawa’s masterpiece, “Fullmetal Alchemist,” as an amazing exhibit from Japan has made its way to Malaysia.

According to the Fullmetal Alchemist Exhibition’s post, the exhibition will run until March 24 at the second level of Pavilion Bukit Jalil in Kuala Lumpur. The exhibit originally toured across Japan from 2017 to 2019 before deciding to do its first-ever showcase overseas.

The exhibit features seven zones with about 300 items on display, including coloured illustrations from Arakawa's archives and costumes from the recent “Fullmetal Alchemist 2022” live-action movie. Fans can immerse themselves in an alchemical journey from 10 AM to 10 PM to get a glimpse of the beloved work’s original manuscripts as well.

Visitors can also participate in a stamp rally, where they can win an exclusive sticker and honourary certificate from the Amestris Military by collecting six stamps spread throughout the venue.

For those who want to keep a souvenir, guests can also visit the merchandise area to get plush dolls, badges, posters, and more.

Selling over 80 million copies worldwide, “Fullmetal Alchemist” is a shounen manga series that tells the story of two brothers, Edward and Alphonse Elric, in their search for the philosopher's stone, which holds the key to potentially restore their bodies to normal after a failed attempt to bring their deceased mother back from the dead.

The series was first adapted into anime, with 51 episodes airing between 2003 and 2004. In 2009, a retelling of the original story was released titled, “Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood,” which is more faithful to the manga.
