Malaysians have much to look forward to this year when it comes to the music scene, as the country has become a popular stop for many international artists' tours. Whether you're a fan of love songs, K-pop, rock and roll, or dream pop, there's bound to be a concert for you this 2023!

Westlife 'The Wild Dreams' Tour - Feb. 23 and 24

Don't let the love month end without witnessing Irish boy band Westlife at Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur! Comprising Shane Filan, Nicky Byrne, Brian McFadden, and Mark Feehily, the band will be performing all of its hits, much to the joy of its Malaysian fans. Whether you're going alone or with a significant other, don't miss out on singing along to "My Love," "Swear It Again," and "Flying Without Wings," among many others. OneRepublic - March 1

American pop rock band OneRepublic, known for hits like "Apologize," "Counting Stars," and "Stop and Stare," to name a few, will be gracing Kuala Lumpur on the first day of March! The Grammy-nominated group's return to Malaysia is part of the Asia leg of their tour, which also includes stops in Hong Kong, the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, and Japan. Simple Plan 'Harder Than It Looks' Tour - March 8

Malaysia is one of the stops of Canadian rock band Simple Plan's "Harder Than It Looks" tour in Southeast Asia this year. The group will be staging their concert on March 8, from 8:30 PM-10 PM at music venue the Zepp. Rock out to Simple Plan's new songs from its latest album, "Harder Than It Looks," and beloved bangers such as "Perfect" and "Welcome to My Life." They will also perform in Jakarta, Surabaya, Singapore, Manila, Davao, Bangkok, Tokyo, and Osaka. Tickets are priced between RM258-RM700 via Everything Boleh!

Bryan Adams 'So Happy It Hurts' Tour - March 11

Regarded as one of the bestselling artists in the world, Grammy Award-winning Bryan Adams will be performing live at the Arena of Stars, Resorts World Genting, in the Malaysian state of Pahang in March. The concert is part of Adama's "So Happy It Hurts" tour and was organised by InTour Live, the IME Entertainment Group, and Eventim Live Asia. Gadgets like cameras and tablets are not allowed in the concert, and attendees are not allowed to take photos or record videos once it has started. Tickets are priced between RM298-RM798. Treasure 'Hello' Tour - March 11

A K-pop lover? Don't miss the concert of Treasure, a South Korean boy band under YG Entertainment comprising members Choi Hyun Suk, Haruto, Mashiho, Hamada Asahi, Jihoon, Yoshi, Junkyu, Bang Ye-dam, Kim Doyoun, So Jung-hwan, Park Jeong-woo, and Yoon Jaehyuk. They will be performing live at the Malawati Indoor Stadium in Shah Alam in Selangor. This would be their first time in the country not just to perform but also personally. Sting 'My Songs' Tour - March 20

Rock out with legendary rockstar Sting, known in real life as Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner, at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre! The musician, who wears many hats (he's also an actor, author, and activist), has sold about 100 million albums throughout his extraordinary career, an inductee of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (with the group The Police), and the winner of just 17 Grammy Awards. His latest album "My Songs" is his fourteenth and was released in May 2019 before the pandemic hit. He will be joined by his special guest and son Joe Sumner during the concert. Louis Tomlinson 'Faith in the Future' Tour - April 26

This is Louis Tomlinson's maiden concert in Malaysia. The artist, who is one-fifth of the English Irish pop boy band, will first make his way to Osaka, Nagoya, and Tokyo in Japan, then Bangkok in Thailand, and Taipei in Taiwan before landing in the capital. He'll then perform in Singapore on April 27 before making his way back to the United States "Faith in the Future" is Tomlinson's second studio album, which he released on Nov. 11, 2022. Cigarettes After Sex - July 15

Dream pop band Cigarettes After Sex will be coming back to Malaysia this July at music venue Zepp. If you missed their first show, now's your time to catch the group, known for their ethereal and raw music on love and that at once comforts and stirs. Cigarettes After Sex will be coming from Hong Kong on July 10 and Taipei on July 12 before heading their way to the capital. Tickets are priced from RM330-RM800.
