Hong Kong-Macau Ferries Now Departing Every 15 Minutes on Weekends
Amidst increased travel to Macau from neighbouring Hong Kong, Macau’s two main ferry operators, Cotai Water Jet and TurboJET, will now be running every 15 minutes on summer weekends in response to high demand during select peak hours.
Records from the Marine and Water Bureau showed an average of 88 one-way trips in July, compared with 100 every Saturday and Sunday. Currently, ferries depart from both Outer Harbour and Taipa Ferry Terminals in Macau every 30 to 60 minutes.
