Iconic Karl Lagerfeld Macau Hotel Opening in July 2023 with 271 Luxe Rooms

THE KARL LAGERFELD hotel is not just any ordinary five-star hotel, but a lavish and unique blend of Chinese and Western aesthetics that bears the name of the late fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld. Located at Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau, the hotel tower boasts 271 rooms and will open in July 2023.

At the lobby, guests are greeted by a reception wall covered by over a thousand keys, as inspired by the movie The Grand Budapest Hotel.

The hotel’s interior features custom-made Chinese-style porcelain vases. Each of the 271 rooms and suites in the hotel feature Chinoiserie-inspired room décor, bringing together Western art deco elements with Karl Lagerfeld’s distinct aesthetic vision.

Mesa by José Avillez offers authentic and contemporary Portuguese dining, whilst The Book Lounge in the lobby brings exquisite afternoon tea in a space featuring over 4,000 real books selected by the bookshop owned by the late designer.
