Treasure Island Resort World Hotel Set to Open in Macau on October 1

The much-awaited Treasure Island Resort World Hotel and Shopping Center in Macau will open officially on October 1, after a soft opening earlier this summer.

The resort hotel and shopping complex boasts over 600 rooms and is situated at the centre of the transportation hub connecting the Cotai area on the Macau Peninsula. The project belongs to a brand-new fully comprehensive luxury five-star hotel tourism development plan.

The shopping centre, which covers 400,000 square feet and has five floors, is expected to become the largest shopping mall on the Macau Peninsula. Over 80% of the retail outlets have already been leased, including Galleries Lafayette, a UFC Gym, the famous toy store Pop Mart, and a large integrated gaming centre, Beebeeland. Treasure Island Resort World Hotel and Shopping Center Macau will not include a casino. 

Bona Film Group has taken up approximately 30,000 square feet to open a seven-screen modern theatre within Treasure Island Resort World Shopping Centre. The theatre will become the highest-tech and most diverse cinema in Macau, bringing new impetus to the market and a new experience to the audience.
