This year’s theme, “Tenderness·Revolution.”, presents 19 feature films and 4 short films, each offering unique perspectives on queer experiences.

The festival opens with the Macao premiere of Bel Ami, winner of four major awards at the 61st Golden Horse Awards, with director Geng Jun and actor Zhang Zhiyong attending a post-screening talk. Highlights include Centerpiece films such as Lesbian Space Princess, Dreams (Sex Love), The Wedding Banquet remake, and Luca Guadagnino’s Queer. Themed sections “Tenderness” and “Revolution” explore the dual forces of vulnerability and upheaval. The Queer Classic program features a 20th anniversary screening of Brokeback Mountain alongside cult favorites.

A tribute to Malaysian choreographer Ix Wong and a panel on equality, “Tenderness·Revolution: Shall We Talk?”, further enrich the program. Tickets go on sale at 12 PM on May 7 via the festival’s official website and Emperor Cinemas (Lisboeta Macau) box office.

Enter the imaginative world of The Haas Brothers at their solo exhibition "Clair de Lune", where light becomes a poetic metaphor for journeys of memory and imagination. Within the gallery, the whimsical creatures and fantastical forms created by The Haas Brothers transform into companions on an exploratory voyage, encouraging visitors to reflect on the dualities of “coming” and “going.” Each piece offers a dialogue between past and present, reminding us that encounters reconstruct moments long gone while continuity connects us to something eternal.
