ARTmusing Summer: Shows, Workshops and Film Carnival From July 1-Sept. 24
Families in Macau can look forward to the Macau Cultural Centre's (CCM) ARTmusing Summer programmes happening from July to the end of September, including performances, movies, workshops, and a film carnival.
The programmes cater to the whole family, from babies and small children to youths and seniors, according to a press release by the Cultural Affairs Bureau on May 30.
The first round of events, the ARTmusing Summer Workshops, will run from July 1-Aug. 27 and will include creative activities that will compel participants to experiment and be playful. There will be children's workshops, family workshops, youth workshops, and senior friends workshops.
There will also be the theatre show "Deep Blue" from July 14-16 and the multimedia play "The Little Prince's Star Journey" on Aug. 12-13, while the ARTmusing Film Carnival is scheduled for Aug. 24-27. A blend of American, Asian, and European films will be screened in the latter, from animated and live action movies to flicks based on real events.
Another round of workshops, performances, and arts and craft activities will be held at the CCM on Aug. 27. The ARTmusing Summer will wrap up from Sept. 20-24 with "Sweet Dream in the Woods," a sensorial adventure by producer Chan Si Kei that's perfect for children aged four to 15 months.
Tickets for the ARTmusing Summer programmes will be on sale beginning June 4, Sunday, at Macao Ticketing Network. Workshop pre-registration began yesterday, May 31. For more information, go here.
