Celebrate Disney’s 100th Year With Giant Mickey Mouse Artworks

In celebration of Disney’s 100th anniversary, large-scale Mickey Mouse-inspired artworks by contemporary pop artists Philip Colbert and Jason Naylor are now on display in Macau until Oct. 15.
Titled “Special Exhibition of Art Macao: Macao International Art Biennale 2023 – Meet the Magic, in Celebration of Disney 100 By Philip Colbert & Jason Naylor,” the art showcase can be found at the Lagoon and Main Lobby of The Venetian Macao, Le Jardin, and the ASCE Diverse and Explorative Art Hub at The Londoner Macao.
Some of the installations available to the public are a five-metre-tall TECHNICOLOR MICKEY that depicts Jason Naylor’s version of “how Mickey would appear in his dreams,” describing it as vivid, bright, and thrilling.
A five-metre-tall Mickey Lobster by Philip Colbert is also on display to pay tribute to the beloved character, along with other sculptures such as The Lobster King and The Lobster and Sunflower.
