Public Tender Begins for Shops in Public Housing Buildings in Macau

The Housing Bureau (IH) in Macau has launched a public tendering process for 30 commercial shop leases located within public housing buildings across the city.

These shops are situated in Kwai Fu Building at Fai Chi Kei Public Housing, Edifício Fai Ieng, Edifício do Bairro da Ilha Verde, Edifício Mong Tak of Mong Ha Public Housing, Edifício Iat Seng at Taipa Public Housing, Edifício do Lago, Lok Kuan Building at Seac Pai Van Public Housing, and Edifício Ip Heng.

Among the 30 available units, 19 are designated for general commercial use, while the remaining 11 are specifically allocated for food and beverage businesses. The shop sizes vary, ranging from 21 square meters to 358.97 square meters, with bid prices ranging from MOP5,500 to MOP60,500.

The tendering process commenced on a Wednesday and is scheduled to conclude at 5:30 PM on Jan. 5, 2024. The final oral bidding sessions are set to take place on Jan. 25, with sessions scheduled for 10:30 AM and 3:30 PM, respectively.

This initiative provides opportunities for businesses to establish a presence within public housing complexes, contributing to a diverse and vibrant community environment.
