Quezon City Gov’t Launches Digital Market One-Stop Shop System for Citizens
The Quezon City government launched the first-ever digital Market One-Stop-Shop (MOSS) system in the country for the benefit of market owners, vendors, and hawkers who are citizens of the city or QCitizens.
According to the Quezon City government via Facebook yesterday, the MOSS is part of the local government unit's Good Governance and Ease of Doing Business initiatives to streamline the application process for residents who want to put up their own business, including those who want to be vendors in public and private markets.
Citizens may also apply for stall extension, renewal, transfer of stall, and repair permits through the MOSS, which they can pay online through PayGate, GCash, and PayMaya. They may likewise access e-copies of their statements of account through the system, as well as information regarding market stall inventory management, public market analytics, and market stall map layouts and details.
The ceremonial launch of the MOSS was led by Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, along with other LGU officials.
The MOSS can be accessed via the QC E-Services website or through the QC E-Services kiosks around the city.
