Korean Eyewear Label Gentle Monster Opens First PH Flagship Store in BGC

The wait is over, K-fashion lovers! After being spotted last month, luxury eyewear label Gentle Monster is finally opening its doors in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), starting with an exclusive launch event today, Oct. 16.

Gentle Monster’s new store in BGC is the brand’s first flagship in the Philippines, following closely its recent boutique launches in Bangkok, Thailand and Osaka, Japan.

Several stars and fashion icons are expected to grace the brand’s launch event in the new store, including South Korean actor Ahn Hyo-seop, who is returning to the country about a week after his fan meeting, and K-Pop boy group POW.

The new BGC flagship houses the brand’s signature eyewear pieces, as well as a large human figure installation that embodies its daring and sophisticated identity. It will officially open its doors to the public tomorrow, Oct. 17.

Gentle Monster is a popular Korean fashion label known for its bold and unconventional eyewear designs, as well as high-profile clientele, including Blackpink’s Jennie.
