Its Pawty Time Scrumptious Cakes in Metro Manila for Your Fur Babies

You can't have your cake and eat it, too, or so they say, but we don't think your pupper would agree to this. They can have their cake and eat it, too, but only with pet-friendly ingredients to ensure they do not get adverse reactions that could jeopardize their lives.

According to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, chocolate, macadamia nuts, dairy, and xylitol, to name a few, are just some of the ingredients one should avoid feeding their pets. So, in celebrating your pets on their special days or just because, it's best to turn to bakers that specially create cakes that are safe for them to eat. In Metro Manila, here are some places you should check out.

Barkin' Bakes

This pet café is dedicated to bringing delicious and healthy food to your furry babies. It's been around for a couple of years now and is known for its custom face cakes, meals, pupcakes and muffins, treats, and celebration meals. For a cake for your pet, we recommend the custom face cake (P1,388), which comes in four flavors: liver, banana, signature apple, and carrot and peanut butter. You can also choose the dietary options that apply to your pet, such as grain- and gluten-free or egg-free, at an additional price of P196 and P136, respectively. Make sure you upload a photo of your pet before placing your order! Barkin' Bakes has two branches, mainly on Maginhawa Street, Quezon City and Estancia Mall.
