Pet-Friendly Hangout Spots in Manila for Your Next Play Date

“Ohana means family, family means nobody gets left behind.” The famed line from Disney’s "Lilo and Stitch" is definitely something all fur parents can relate to. When we have to leave the house, we often want to find ways to include our furry friends. Whether that’s finding a restaurant with al fresco seating or a mall that has a pet store or a play park.
We love pets as much as you do so we’re here to tell you about five pet-friendly destinations in Manila you can check out to spend more quality time with your fur babies.
Bonifacio Global City (BGC)
Located in the heart of Taguig City is an urban oasis boasting contemporary infrastructures and wide green spaces amidst a thriving cosmopolitan atmosphere. BGC is considered the premiere lifestyle and business district of Manila, and yes, it’s also one of those cities that is almost entirely pet-friendly!
From its parks and shopping malls to restaurants and quaint cafes (we made a list here!), the city welcomes you and your furry pals with open arms, making it one of the top hangout spots in Metro Manila. Whether you’re looking to walk, play, shop, or dine, BGC offers a variety of activities you and your loved ones will enjoy.
PET SPOT: If you’re looking to enjoy the outdoors with your fur babies, check out BGC Central Bark which is the country’s first off-leash dog park! On the weekends, it’s crowded with fur parents and other cute dogs so it’s the perfect place for them to socialize and get that quality bonding and playtime! Day passes are priced at P100, but if you’re looking to be a regular visitor, there’s a monthly membership fee of P999.
Location: Sundial Park, 24th Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City
Tiendesitas
Even before its renovation, Tiendesitas had a designated area for all things pets from pet stores, vet clinics, and grooming salons. With its refurbishment comes a variety of new dining options, unique furniture stores, and familiar retail shops such as Mr. DIY and Decathlon.
Another highlight of Tiendesitas is their food village on level 2 where you won’t only experience good Filipino food but also catch free live band entertainment every Friday from 5 PM to 9 PM. You can totally vibe with your pets too as the food village is designed as an alfresco dining space.
PET SPOT: Tiendesitas’ Pet Village is paradise for owners and furry pals as it has everything you could ever need. Need your pets to get a trim? There are several grooming salons to choose from. Running low on treats? Head on over to one of their many pet stores. Time for a check-up? A good vet is just around the corner.
Location: Building C Level 1, Tendonitis, E. Rodriguez Ave., Pasig City
Robinsons Galleria
In all honesty, every Robinsons Mall deserves a spot on this list, but this branch recently went through a serious makeover and has not only beautified their interior structures, but also added more stores, recreation spaces, as well as local and international dining options that’s perfect for a weekend out with the whole family. The best part? Pets are 100% welcome and most restaurants (specifically those on the second level and first level food court) have al fresco dining spaces.
Robinsons has also rolled out their Happy Pets Club which allows customers to bring their pets into the malls with a Digital Pet ID. Simply register through their app.
PET SPOT: Robinsons’ Malls has put up indoor dog parks in select malls, and Robinson’s Galleria is one of them! It’s on the third level where Pet Lovers Centre, a store selling all your pet needs, is located. The park is free to use by mall guests.
ICYDK: Robinson’s Galleria often holds a variety of events at their main atrium and there’s one coming this August 8 that’s purr-fect for Cat Lovers! Don’t miss Meow Mania for the ultimate International Cat Day celebration!
