ENDO, the gripping straight play adaptation of the award-winning 2007 Cinemalaya film, returns to PETA Theater Center from April 10 to May 10, 2026, with shows at 3PM and 8PM. Tickets start from P1,600. This revival captures a generation's struggle with love, work, and impermanence through the story of Leo, a young man from a poor family who drops out of school and toils as a contractual worker. In one job, he meets Tanya, a high-spirited woman who introduces him to love and new possibilities, yet he grapples with the permanence that true connection demands.

Raw, tender, and unflinchingly real, ENDO unveils the bittersweet beauty of temporary things. As Leo and Tanya's romance deepens, the play probes deeper questions: what does it mean to hold on when everything must end? The production features strong ensemble performances that bring these intimate struggles to life on stage.

This timely staging resonates amid ongoing discussions on contractual labor, economic precarity, and the emotional toll of unstable employment in the post-pandemic workforce. It offers audiences a chance to re-examine a significant contemporary work, sparking informed cultural conversations on labor and survival. Join at PETA Theater Center to witness storytelling that aligns with commitments to socially responsive theater.

From P200 for students

In its 92nd season, the Far Eastern University Theater Guild (FTG) presents BANGAW, a bold Filipino play with music adapted from William Golding’s novel Lord of the Flies. Opening March 5 at the FEU Center for the Arts Studio, the production runs on select dates until April 25, 2026.

Written by Gold Villar-Lim, with music by Vince Lim and direction by PETA Senior Artist-Teacher and FTG Artistic Director Dudz Teraña, Bangaw reimagines the classic survival tale through a distinctly Filipino lens. Set on a remote island in the Visayas, the story follows high school students stranded after a plane crash. As order crumbles and fear takes hold, fascination with hunting and the myth of a lurking monster fracture the group’s fragile society. At the center stands Raf, determined to preserve structure, clashing with Jack’s descent into dominance and chaos.

Blending symbolic movement, raw emotional expression, and original Filipino soundscapes, Bangaw confronts themes of division, abuse of power, moral decay, and patriarchy—while reflecting resilience, bayanihan, and hope amid collapse.

Show Dates: March: 5–7, 12–14, 19–21, 26–28 April: 9–11, 16–18, 23–25
