Step into a story told through fragments, memories, and the spaces between people as SPIKE THEATRE presents "JONAH", a one-act play by acclaimed playwright Rachel Bonds. Running from Aug. 29 to Sept. 6, 2026, at Dance Royalties Studio PH, Mandaluyong, the production explores the fragile boundaries of trust, intimacy, and survival through an intimate theatrical experience.

Written by Rachel Bonds and directed by Edith Garcia, "JONAH" examines the complicated ways people connect with one another while carrying memories and experiences that shape how they navigate the world. Told through fragments, the play invites audiences to piece together a story that unfolds between moments of closeness, uncertainty, and vulnerability.

Rather than presenting a straightforward narrative, the production explores what can be found in the gaps between memories and relationships. Its intimate approach creates space to examine the ways people seek connection, protect themselves, and make difficult choices when confronted with circumstances beyond their control.

Through its themes of trust, intimacy, and resilience, "JONAH" offers audiences a thought-provoking theatrical experience that asks difficult questions about human connection and the things people do to survive. The production promises a compelling evening for theatergoers drawn to intimate storytelling and emotionally resonant contemporary drama.

Spend an evening of candid conversations, complicated emotions, and unfiltered honesty with "Tagay Para Sa Ex," presented by Boxstage Manila and the FEU Center for the Arts. Written and directed by Dudz Teraña, the production runs on Aug. 8, 13, 15, and 22, and Sept. 5, 2026, at FEU Center for the Arts Studio, with performances scheduled at 3 PM and 7 PM.

Loosely inspired by Raymond Carver's acclaimed short story "What We Talk About When We Talk About Love," the play follows five contemporary professionals gathered for a drinking session that soon turns into an evening of self-reflection and emotional reckoning. As drinks flow and defenses begin to crumble, questions about romance, ambition, commitment, and life's defining choices take center stage.

Featuring characters whose experiences feel strikingly familiar, "Tagay Para Sa Ex" explores the messy realities of modern relationships through sharp dialogue, humor, and deeply relatable moments. Set inside a condominium gathering where every toast reveals another layer of truth, the production offers an intimate look at the conversations people have about love, heartbreak, and the search for meaning when the past refuses to stay buried.
