The Manila Improv Fest 2026 returns for its biggest edition yet with a simple but bold theme: showing up. The festival brings together improvisers, performers, and curious first-timers from around the world for five days of live shows, workshops, and collaborative play built entirely offhand.
This year’s theme, “Rise to the Moment,” promises audiences a wide array of everything improv — sharp comedy, musical improv, fast-moving storytelling, and ensemble performances — all created on the spot, and never to be repeated in the same way ever again.
Photo from Facebook/Manila Improv Fest
Happening from Mar. 25 to 29, 2026, at The Proscenium at Rockwell, audiences can expect five full days of performances, 70 improv acts, and 21 workshop classes with artists from 20+ countries. The Philippines’ biggest improv group, SPIT Manila, will be performing for the opening night, and is surely not to be missed!
Beyond the laughter and slapstick, the festival celebrates the spirit and art of improv itself: through listening, responding, and building something completely unexpected. It could be messy in the beginning, but it’s an invitation to step into the present and “rise to the moment.”
In the world of improv, mistakes turn into punchlines, ideas become scenes, and strangers turn into the most surprising and creative partners you’ll ever meet.
Whether you’re a fan of improv or love the spotlight, Manila Improv Fest is the place to be! It’s a safe space for everything unpredictable, and where the best stories are often cooked up as you go.
Tickets are available via Ticketmelon, with different prices for the shows and workshops.
Opening Show tickets are priced from P2,000 (Red Zone), P2,500 (Yellow Zone), P3,000 (Green Zone), and P3,500 (Blue Zone). Show tickets for the Manila Improv Fest 2026 are priced at P1,000 and P1,500, depending on the schedules. Workshop tickets are priced at P3,000 and P6,000, with limited quantities remaining.

Women in music and the arts take center stage this March, and it’s just so right.
In celebration of Women’s History Month, GNN is highlighting the voices, visions, and the quiet power of women who continue to shape the local entertainment industry onstage and behind the scenes through the Lilet Fair.
Drawing inspiration from Sarah McLachlan’s iconic Lilith Festival from the 90s, the Lilet Fair is a multi-format showcase featuring music, comedy, improv, drag, and visual art — designed as a space where women lead, create, and thrive.
Courtesy of GNN Entertainment Productions
“Lilet Fair is a women-centered music and creative space that amplifies not just performers, but the women working behind the scenes who power the industry,” said GNN Production Head Milley Habito. “By creating platforms like this, we foster representation, mentorship, and real opportunities, proving that when women are centered, the entire music community thrives.”
Headlining the Lilet Fair are some of the most prominent artists in OPM, including pop-rock royalty Barbie Almalbis, Filipino singer-songwriters Clara Benin, syd hartha, Janine Berdin, August Wahh, Coeli, and Shane Dandan.
Other artists in different disciplines will also shine, with acts like A || Z, Lady Boses, M1SS Jade So, and Inah Demons.
More than the stage, the event will also feature women-led booths and creative spaces — from floristry and ceramics to tattoos and live art — celebrating women entrepreneurs and self-expression in all forms.
Ahead of the main event, GNN will host “She Means Business: Women Paving The Way,” a panel discussion featuring women who are making significant contributions to the indie music scene behind the scenes: Alex Majam, co-owner of Jess & Pat’s; Bel Certeza, label head at EMI Records Philippines; Katrina Romero, manager of Over October; Kris Rocha, founder and music photographer at Neon Oven; and Ziera De Veyra, head of Funky Beat Entertainment.
While women have often driven culture forward, many continue to face barriers, from underrepresentation to unequal opportunities. Through this initiative, GNN honors those who build communities, open doors for others, and turn creativity into collective change.
“This celebration is not only about championing female practitioners in music and entertainment, but also about recognizing the female fans and pro-women advocates who actively support the local music scene,” shared Marie Lara Pauline Bobier, GNN’s Event Director.
