Araneta City Commemorates Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Araneta City is turning pink this October in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This year, they're teaming up with a non-profit organization, the Kasuso Foundation, to raise awareness and funds for its beneficiaries.

With the theme “Let’s Bridge the Breast Cancer Care Gap: Fair and Square,” the month-long campaign features different activities, with the grand launch scheduled on Oct. 7 at the Gateway Mall. Kicking off the activities is a talk on breast health, the opening of the “Susuportahan Kita” art exhibit, and a floristry workshop with Gathered Creative Co.

It will be followed by the "KasusoCon" and an event featuring Ogie Diaz and friends, offering a free makeover at Farmers Plaza on Oct. 15.

The pink campaign will then continue at Ali Mall on Oct. 25 with the opening of the "Kasuso Against All Odds" photo exhibit, accompanied by a PinkTober Party hosted by Tupperware Brands.

Admission details for the upcoming activities are yet to be announced. For more information, visit Araneta City's Facebook, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter), or head to Kasuso Foundation’s Facebook page for more Breast Cancer Awareness Month-related events.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is observed each year in October to promote awareness and provide education regarding the early signs of breast cancer.
