Hallyu Fans, Rejoice! Asia Artist Awards Will Be Held at PH Arena This Year

Fans of Hallyu and Asian entertainment in the Philippines are in for a spectacular treat! South Korea’s annual Asia Artist Awards (AAA) will be held in the country for this year’s edition, said Korean media outlet Starnews Korea in a report.

The ceremony will reportedly be held on Dec. 14 at the Philippine Arena, which was hailed as “the world's largest indoor arena.” The venue can accommodate about 50,000 spectators, raising expectations for the large-scale event.

This was further confirmed by Happee Sy-Go of live events producer PULP Live World as she reposted the news through her X (formerly Twitter) page.

In a statement to Manila Bulletin, Go said, "We at PULP Live World are very honored to have been chosen as the Philippine partner to host this year's Asian Artist Awards. We look forward to the privilege of showcasing the very best of our country's warmth and hospitality to Asia's great stars and to making this year's AAAs a tremendous success for everyone involved.”

At the event, Hallyu fans can expect grand performances from various K-Pop and other Asian artists. Fan-favorite K-Drama and K-Movie actors and actresses are also expected to grace the ceremony.

South Korea’s AAA kicked off in 2016, recognizing some of the top artists in the music, television, and movie scene in Asia. Last year’s AAA was held at the Nippon Gaishi Hall in Nagoya, Japan.

This year, the event will be hosted by the AAA Organizing Committee, TONZ Entertainment, and PULP Live World.
