After 12 years at The Link Center Carpark in Makati, Art Fair Philippines is making a big move — just a 7-minute walk away. Their new home? The Ayala Triangle Gardens.
“The rumors are true,” Art Fair Philippines co-founder Trickie Lopa joked in a private media event held on Jan. 21, 2025, at the 8th Floor of The Executive Center – Ayala Triangle Gardens Tower 2. “This year for 2025, Art Fair Philippines will be at the Ayala Triangle."
Here’s what to expect at the Art Fair Philippines 2025 on Feb. 21 to 23, 2025:
New Venue: The Ayala Triangle Gardens
While the move seemed like a tall order for the founder and team behind the premier Philippine art fair, they didn't seem too fazed. Still, there was the burning question on everyone’s minds: "Why the sudden move?"
“We just like to give ourselves a hard time,” Trickie joked. “We did everything already, right. What else can we do that’s gonna make our lives more difficult?”
She emphasized, however, that The Link remains to be the home of the Art Fair. But it was time for change, “We always try to conceptualize something new each Art Fair. So, why not go bigger this year [and] change the entire venue?”
For Dindin Araneta, co-founder of Art Fair Philippines, it’s moving the center of the community. “We also wanted to find a venue that can also transform the experience of being in an art fair.”
Another question was, how are they going to transition what used to be a five-floor indoor event into the expanse of the gardens?
Lisa Piraquet, one of the co-founders, assured us that it wouldn’t be that difficult. The tents currently being set up on the grounds of Ayala Triangle will be serving as the main venue for the Art Fair, and there will be signages directing everyone on where to go, enter, etc.
More additions to the Art Fair PH’s venue will be the sixth and eighth floors of The Executive Center, and the Amphitheater. All in all, it seems the entire park is involved, creating an experience that's a "walk in the park." Literally.
The Ayala Triangle Gardens will have two entrances: one by Ayala Avenue and the other by Makati Avenue. Parking options are available around the area:
Ayala Triangle Gardens Tower 2 Parking
The Link Carpark – 7-minute walk
Gabriela Silang Parking
Paseo Center Parking – 4-minute walk
Valero Carpark 2 – 6-mintue walk
6750 Building Parking – 8-minute walk
Greenbelt 5 Parking – 10-minute walk
Glorietta 3 Basement Parking – 11-minute walk
Rustan’s Steel Parking – 11-minute walk
Even though it was a big move, the founders of Art Fair Philippines assured fairgoers that it’s still the same one we’ve come to love and look forward to each year.
We’ll still get to see Exhibitors, Projects, Digital, Photo, Film, Residencies, Talks, and Tours enclosed in the park’s space, and the 10 Days of Art all around Ayala Center.
Tickets to Art Fair Philippines are priced at P750 (General admission), P500 (available on-site; PWDs, Students, Senior Citizens), and P300 (Makati students and teachers). They are available now on Art Fair PH's website.
What to Expect at the Art Fair Philippines 2025
Participating Galleries
Galleries from different parts of the world will be exhibiting their works at the Art Fair. These come from the Philippines, Japan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, and Spain.
ArtFairPH/Projects
Presented by BPI, this part of the fair is one that is most looked out for by attendees. This is also described by co-founder Lisa Piraquet as the one that “rounds off the character of the fair.” ArtFairPH/Projects present artists in different stages of their careers — from established masters to up-and-coming artists — chosen specifically by the founders to showcase their work.
This year’s roster of artists includes Manny Garibay, Manuel Ocampo, Goldie Poblador, Ryan Rubio, and Jezzel Wee. Spanish artist SpY, known for his portfolio of large-scale installations and interventions in different cities around the world, completes the list.
This space is one of the most recent additions to the fair, as well as one of the more popular ones. Presented by Globe, this interactive space will have more room for audiences to enjoy.
Artists presenting their work under this category are Isiah Cacnio, a multimedia engineer working with the themes of light, movement, and spatial dynamics; and Chia Amisola, a curator and artist based in San Francisco with her traveling exhibition, “KAKAKOMPYUTER MO YAN!” as an ode to Internet art and the Third World digital landscape.
Other animated and digital works will be featured at the Amphitheater.
This space will be helmed by FotomotoPH, with several photographers participating in the exhibit titled “Kuha.” The space will also be curated by Cocoy Lumbao.
ArtFairPH/Talks
This space gives Art Fair PH a platform to continue its mission of developing a well-rounded appreciation for contemporary and modern art. This is done in partnership with the Ateneo Art Gallery and the Museum Foundation of the Philippines.
This year’s highlight will be a panel discussion on collection management in a collector’s P.O.V., and is made with Larry’s List.
ArtFairPH/Film
This year, Art Fair PH will screen “Kono Basho”, the debut film of award-winning director J. Pacena which was included in the Cinemalaya 2024 finalists. It is a film about two estranged sisters, who find solace in their shared grief after the loss of their father. The cast will be present for a talk-back session after the film’s showing.
Another film that will be shown is “The F.A.T. Boys!! Episode 1: Each One Teach One,"by American director Drew Milo. The story follows Splashman LV and Mr. StarCity on their travels. The film was shot while traveling through the Philippines last year, with director Drew Milo being a part of Mr. StarCity’s team last Art Fair PH. The film also features La Union-based environmentalist Toby Tamayo.
ArtFairPH/Talks and
ArtFairPH/Films will be held at the 6th and 8th
Floor of The Executive Center at Ayala Triangle Garden Tower 2. Prices for the talks and films are included in the ticket price.
ArtFairPH/Residencies
Launched in 2021, Art Fair Philippines opens possibilities for Filipino artists and highlights visual and contemporary arts to audiences. For this year, they have partnered with Ateneo Art Gallery for the ArtFairPH/Residencies Curator’s Grant Program.
10 Days of Art
Courtesy of Ruben P. Bescos/SpY Urban Art
Various public spaces around Makati City will be transformed into public art installations from Feb. 14 to 23, 2025. Introduced in 2017, the program aimed to “take art outside of the fair’s venue,” and to “celebrate the best in Philippine contemporary art for 10 days all around Makati.”
These installations include a large-scale installation by SpY Studio at the Ayala Triangle Gardens, outdoor sculptures by Briccio Santos at Legazpi Park, works by Neal Oshima and FotomotoPH at the Greenbelt 3 Sunken Park, photographs at the Legazpi Underpass by FotomotoPH, works by the TLYR COLLECTIVE at the Paseo Villar Underpass, and an immersive installation by Kim Borja at the Glorietta Activity Center.

New theatre collective, Theatre Group Asia (TGA), has announced its next production following the success of their acclaimed one-woman show, “Request Sa Radyo.” Stephen Sondheim's "Into The Woods” will be making its way to the Samsung Performing Arts Theater stage this August!
As if that news alone couldn’t get more exciting, TGA dropped the bomb last Jan. 17 when they revealed Tony Award-winning actress Lea Salonga will be joining the production as The Witch, a role she had previously done in 1994.
“She is good, she is nice, she is right, she is the witch! Making her grand return to the Philippine musical stage after six years, Lea Salonga is back and ready to weave her magic in Into the Woods!” said TGA in a post, sending musical fans into a frenzy and increasing the demand for ticket details. This is Lea’s first musical in the Philippines since her performance in “Sweeney Todd” in 2019, another Sondheim musical masterpiece, and directed by the late Bobby Garcia.
The group has also unveiled another cast member: Filipino American Arielle Jacobs, known for her debut role as Nina in Lin-Manuel Miranda’s “In the Heights,” is set to play Cinderella. The actress had starred in various Broadway musical productions including as Jasmine in Disney’s Aladdin and as Nessarose in Wicked.

“Into The Woods” brings together some of the most iconic fairytale characters into one setting. The stories of Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, and Rapunzel are tied together by an original storyline following a baker and his wife who are trying to break a curse by a wicked witch. To do so, they must venture into the woods to gather three items from the aforementioned characters. A chaotic adventure through forest and song, the musical premiered on Broadway in 1987 and won three Tony Awards including Best Score and Best Book. It has since been produced throughout the world and was adapted into a film by Walt Disney Pictures in 2014.
This upcoming production aligns with TGA’s mission to present world-class theatre shows to the Filipino audience, all the while championing Filipino creatives and fostering connections within the international theatre community. Show dates and ticket prices should be revealed in the coming weeks. Sign up here to be the first to know about it!
