The P-Pop scene is welcoming a new act this May 2026, and they sure are making waves.

1Z Entertainment’s newest girl group, XONARA, is making their highly anticipated official debut at Escolta Street, in front of the First United Building, on May 16, 2026. Happening from 12 NN to 10 PM, “XONARA’S WORLD” unfolds as an open-format street event, blending high-energy live performances with interactive activations and pop-up markets.

Attendance is limited, with passes available via online registration here. Sign-ups close on May 11, 2026, at 12 NN.

XONARA is an upcoming seven-member girl group under 1Z Entertainment, consisting of members Tin, Eurekah, Dominique, Ella, Namie, Megumi, and Lei. The girl group moves through lived truth: raw, honest, and deeply human.

The girl group first performed in SB19’s “Wakas at Simula: The Trilogy Concert Finale” last Apr. 18 as a guest act and later made their festival debut at the Aurora Music Festival on May 2. XONARA will be releasing their first single, “Uy Tabi Tabi,” at their debut showcase.

The Philippines’ most exciting coffee experience — the Philippine Coffee Expo — is happening this June 5 to 7, 2026, at the SPACE at One Ayala!

Positioned as both a marketplace and meeting ground, the expo offers a full-spectrum look at coffee culture, tracing the journey from bean to cup while spotlighting new technologies, techniques, and emerging trends shaping the sector.

This year’s theme, “Creating Shared Ground,” highlights collaboration and collective growth, focusing on the need for stronger connections across the Philippine coffee industry. The program reflects this direction, with sessions and spaces designed to encourage exchange between producers, entrepreneurs, and consumers.

The Philippine Coffee Expo 2026 will feature homegrown roasters and specialty coffee brands from across the country, such as Astoria, Cuppa Espresso PH, the Department of Agriculture, Fuel Roastery, Goodmate, Taza Coffee Company, Glico – Almond Koka, Melbean Coffee Mfg, and more.

Tickets are now available via Gevme, with One-day Passes priced at P650 and Three-day Passes at P1,500. Ticketholders can access the main exhibition hall alongside Kape’t Kwentuhan talks, live demonstrations, coffee competitions, pocket classes, learning sessions, a community brew bar, and more. Select paid workshops will also be available via separate registrations.

Organized by the Philippine Coffee Guild, this edition of the Philippine Coffee Expo is set to come alive all for the love of everyone’s favorite brew.

The three-day event will showcase over 60 craft beers highlighting a range of styles, bold flavor profiles, and brewing techniques from all over the Philippines. Designed as an open, community-driven gathering, the celebration invites both casual drinkers and enthusiasts to explore and discover local pints in one whole space.

One of the Philippines’ most iconic and beloved cultural events — the Malasimbo Music & Arts Festival — is set to return to the Puerta Real Gardens this May 23, 2026, marking its second consecutive year at the historic venue in Manila.

Known for its blend of music, art, and advocacy, the festival continues to reimagine its setting within the Walled City, where open spaces meet 18th-century architecture. The festival kicks off at 2 PM and will continue till 11:45 PM, offering a family-friendly event with almost 11 hours of fun and exciting vibes.

Ready for Noah and Allie’s love story to pull your heartstrings once more?

Theatre Group Asia (TGA) is set to stage “The Notebook: The Musical” in Manila for the first time this September, opening its 2026-2027 season at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater.

Based on Nicholas Sparks’ 1996 novel, and is renowned for the 2004 film adaptation starring Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams, the production traces the enduring love story of Noah and Allie, moving between the present-day care facility and the American South in the 1940s.

The musical first premiered in 2022 at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater before making its 2024 Broadway debut in 2024. It features music and lyrics by Ingrid Michaelson, with a book by Bekah Brunstetter.

Filipino singer-songwriter Morissette has been cast as Middle Allie in the upcoming production, while Filipino theater darlings Sheena Belarmino and Benedix Ramos are set to portray Young Allie and Young Noah, respectively.

Tickets will be available via TicketWorld starting Apr. 20 for BPI cardholders, Robinsons Bank cardholders on Apr. 21 to 22, Theatre Group Asia subscribers on Apr. 23, and for General Sale on Apr. 24.
