CIMB Bank Philippines Introduces Virtual Debit Card to Account Holders

Showcasing its commitment to digital banking, CIMB Bank Philippines has launched a virtual debit card for its deposit customers, allowing for seamless online transactions right at their fingertips.

Users who activate the card through the CIMB app before Friday, June 30, can enjoy a 5% cashback on all transactions, capped at P100 per month. This applies to all transactions with a minimum spend of P1,000.

“Through the new CIMB virtual debit card, we are further supporting the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas’ (BSP) Digital Payments Transformation Roadmap and overall financial inclusion goals for the country,” CIMB Bank Philippines CEO Vijay Manoharan said in a statement.

The CIMB app makes activation effortless and user-friendly, allowing users to easily link the card to their savings account for flexible money management. Customers may adjust their daily transaction limits based on individual requirements.
