Pinoy Pop Convention and Concert Postponed Due to Logistical Concerns

P-Pop fans, the upcoming Pinoy Pop Convention and Concert (PPOP CON) 2023 has been postponed.

PPOP CON 2023, which was initially scheduled on March 18 and 19 at the New Frontier Theater and the Araneta Coliseum, will now be moved to a later date, organizers announced yesterday, March 9.

According to the organizers, the event had to be postponed due to logistical concerns, apologizing to fans who were already looking forward to attending the convention and concert.

"PPOPCON is dedicated to creating the ultimate fan experience and welcoming new fans to the community," the announcement read. "Our commitment in helping build the P-POP community and grow the genre by providing this platform will continue to be our focus as we prepare for the upcoming event."

PPOP CON 2023 is deemed as "the ultimate P-pop fan gathering," as it would see the performances of various groups, such as SB19, BGYO, Bini, 4th Impact, MNL48, 1st.One, Alamat, and more. Apart from live performances, the two-day event also had games and raffles, fan booth activities, fan signing, P-Pop merchandise, and surprises in store for fans.

Organizers have yet to announce the new date for PPOP CON 2023 but noted it would be "very soon."
