You Can Now Book Your Own Watch Party at This Private Movie Theater in Cubao

Good news, film buffs! You can now fulfill your dream of booking an entire movie theater as Sine Pop’s restored 1948 movie house in Cubao is now available to rent. If you're planning on hitting the cinemas with your clique but still want to practice social distancing, renting out a theater is your best bet. Unlike the usual movie-watching experience, a private screening can provide a sense of safety, comfort, and satisfaction. Boasting a DCP projector, a 7.1 surround sound system, and a 7-meter screen, Sine Pop's private movie house can give your barkada a full cinematic experience like no other.

Seating Capacity and Minimum Pax

Sine Pop has a 48-seating capacity. Following the guidelines of the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF), the theater can only accommodate 25 fully vaccinated individuals per screening as of writing.

Cost and How to Reserve

It costs P3,000 to book the entire Sine Pop movie house for a three-hour screening. For those who prefer a longer cinema experience, you may opt for the six-hour screening for P8,000. What to Watch

Sine Pop has a library of Blu-ray titles that are available upon request. You may also bring your own Blu-ray disc if you like. If you wish to play a DCP movie file, a screening fee will be charged. If you're viewing a film from your laptop, you must visit the site prior to your screening date to ensure hardware capability. If you're streaming titles from Netflix, Disney+, HBO GO, iTunes, Amazon Prime Video, and other platforms, you are required to provide your own internet connection as Sine Pop doesn’t have Wi-Fi service.

Other Features and Amenities

Sine Pop has a lounge area, which can accommodate 32 people. It features eight tables with four seats each where guests can chill and consume their take-out meals as food and beverages are not allowed inside the theater. Don’t worry as there’s potable water provided inside the lounge. Parking space is also available for up to five vehicles. If the car park is already full, two additional cars may park on the street or in Gateway Mall’s parking area.
