HDB: Nearly 4,000 Flats Launched Under February BTO Exercise

The Housing and Development Board (HDB) launched 3,953 flats for sale on Thursday under the February 2022 Build-To-Order exercise.

The flats are spread across six projects and are located in Geylang, Kallang Whampoa, Tengah, and Yishun. The HDB said that a wide range of the flats are two-room flexi to 5-roomers to cater to the housing needs of first-timers, second-timer families, seniors, and single individuals. These are also priced with a subsidy and generally lower than the prices of resale flats nearby.

Those who plan to move into their flats sooner, such as first-timer families, are advised to consider the flats in Yishun Boardwalk and Grove Spring @ Yishun, as these have shorter waiting times (from 26-30 months).

"With at least 95% of the 4-room and bigger flat types set aside for them, first-timer families can look forward to a higher chance of securing flats in these projects," the HDB said.

Applications for the flats in this BTO exercise can be made online on HDB InfoWeb.
