Japanese doughnut brandI'm donut? is officially heading to the Lion City this 2026, bringing their signature melt-in-your-mouth creations to Singapore.
While an exact opening date, location, and menu have yet to be announced, the upcoming arrival is something worth keeping on your radar. After all, this isn't your typical donut.
I'm donut? specializes in nama doughnuts, a Japanese-style treat known for its exceptionally soft, airy texture. The brand's philosophy is simple: it's a donut, but not quite the one you're familiar with.
The secret lies in its specially developed brioche dough, made from a blend of different wheat flours and pumpkin. The mixture undergoes a lengthy, low-temperature fermentation process before being fried quickly at high heat.
In the end, you get a doughnut that's delightfully chewy yet fluffy enough to dissolve in your mouth. Everything is also handmade, from the dough and creams to the toppings, and even sausages used in their savory offerings are prepared in-house as much as possible.
Beyond its signature offerings, the Japanese brand has also expanded into alternative dietary options. In November 2025, they revamped two Shibuya locations to feature dedicated gluten-free and vegan concepts using Japanese rice flour, pumpkin, and banana. The vegan menu offers 10 plant-based varieties, complete with a dairy-free custard.
Whether these specialty creations will make their way to Singapore remains unconfirmed.
