Here's a Look at Timbre+ Eastside, Singapore's 'Sustainable Food Park'

There’s a new kid in on the block if you’re from the east side of Singapore. Located at the Singapore Expo & MAX Atria, Timbre+Eastside is a newly opened food park that promises a safe and cosy space where you can hang out in a sustainable way. We know sustainability has been a buzzword lately and it’s sometimes hard to distinguish whether a brand is actually concerned about our carbon footprint or just riding on the trend.

Timbre+Eastside wants to change that by walking the talk. Modular blocks flank its playground area and are available for purchase at the Bottle Shop. Two boxes of six modular blocks cost around S$60, a nice deal for something that can reward you with fresh greens for your next homecooked meal. Timbre+Eastside also encourages buyers to donate some of the modular blocks to designated nursing homes and senior citizen care centres as “little steps to make Singapore a kinder and greener place to live in.”

Do you have a stash of unused tote bags? Find them a new owner through Timbre+Eastside’s Gift-it-Bag initiative. All donated bags are washed and sanitized in preparation for a new life with their next owner!

Timbre+Eastside is also encouraging visitors to lower carbon emissions by using bicycles. They have an indoor bicycle parking for riders in the mood for a pit stop. If you need new gears for you two wheels, check out Crank and Chain, a bike repairs and service shop that doubles as a themed café! Indulge in pastries and sip a cup of coffee while waiting for your ride’s upgrade!

Spanning 2,000 square metres, Timbre+Eastside has a 200-seat capacity and houses a range of F&B stalls. You can expect a bevy of cuisine options including Japanese, Thai, Western, and of course, Singaporean.

But aside from munching on good bites, you can also take fitness classes or workshops in the airconditioned Studio+, or feed your soul with a new read courtesy of Book Corner.
