Changi Airport Named the Best Airport in the World for 12th Time

Changi Airport has been named the world’s best airport by Skytrax’s World Airport Awards, marking its 12th time winning the accolade. It dethroned Qatar’s Hamad International Airport, which was at the top in 2021 and 2022.

“Changi Airport is honoured to be named World’s Best Airport for the 12th time. This recognition is great encouragement to our airport community, who stood firmly together to battle the challenges of COVID-19 over the past two years. We thank them for their dedication to serve Changi’s passengers and the perseverance to keep Singapore connected to the world,” said Changi Airport Group CEO Lee Seow Hiang.

“To our passengers, we are deeply grateful for your vote of confidence. Your continued support encourages us to keep pursuing service excellence as we expand our offerings to redefine the Changi Experience.”

With four operating terminals, and a fifth one coming up in 2030—which is expected to be bigger than all four combined—and the addition of Jewel’s nature-themed attractions and retail complexes, Changi Airport is as much a travel hub as a destination. The HSBC Rain Vortex, the world's tallest indoor waterfall, is a Singapore icon that you can view as soon as you land in the city.
