After a four-month hiatus, Singapore's iconic Tanjong Beach Club is back, ready to welcome guests looking to relax and unwind by the pool with a refreshing drink in hand!
The seaside staple, conceived by Sydney-based Akin Atelier, has reemerged with fresh interiors and an all-new food and drink lineup that doubles down on its beach-meets-boutique vibe.
Helming the kitchen is Head Chef Mong Zhen Yew (ex-Osteria Mozza, Spago), collaborating with VallianGunawan (formerly of Skool Kitchen Bali) to craft a coastal menu fired by wood and flair.
Highlights include the Smoked Hokkaido Scallop Aguachile (S$34), Dry-agedBarramundi (from S$36), and the Wood-fired Half Chicken (S$36) marinated in a bold red mojo.
Small bites like the Coppa & Cantabrian Anchovy Tartine (S$21) and Mezze Platter (S$38) are perfect for grazing, while the decadent Seafood Tower (S$248) is a showstopper stacked with lobster, oysters, prawns, and more.
Drinks-wise, Tanjong leans into luxe with an expanded Champagne list and exclusive magnums like Gounel-Lassalle Esprit Voyageur (S$320).
The new cocktail program, designed with Cat Bite Crew (winners of Campari’s One to Watch 2024), serves up beach-ready sips like the Tanjong Coast (S$25) — a refreshing mix of gin, guava, and cucumber tonic — and the pandan-rum Mai Tide (S$23).
Soak it all in poolside at the iconic checker-tiled infinity pool, now framed by lush palms and a sweeping mural by local artist Aeropalmics. The beach shop returns too, stocked with elevated essentials for sun, sea, and style.
