CATS the Musical

Step into the magical world of CATS as the legendary musical arrives at Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands from Oct. 29 to Nov. 15, 2026, presented by BASE Entertainment Asia. One of the most celebrated productions in theatre history, the show invites audiences to the enchanting Jellicle Ball, where a tribe of cats gathers for a night of music, dance, and storytelling under the Jellicle Moon.

Adapted from Old Possum’s "Book of Practical Cats" by T. S. Eliot, the musical features a magnificent score by Andrew Lloyd Webber, including the timeless song "Memory." Since its world premiere in 1981, the production has been performed in more than 54 countries, translated into 23 languages, and seen by over 77 million people worldwide.

Renowned for its dazzling choreography by Gillian Lynne, direction by Trevor Nunn, and imaginative set design by John Napier, the musical remains a spectacle of theatrical innovation.
