National Gallery Singapore marks International Women’s Day 2026 with a two‑day programme spanning March 5 and March 8, offering a thoughtfully curated mix of talks, wellness experiences, hands‑on activities, and exhibitions across multiple gallery spaces. Designed to inspire reflection, connection, and empowerment, the programme invites visitors of all ages to engage with art, culture, and community at their own pace.

The celebration is anchored by the Gallery’s major exhibition "Fear No Power: Women Imagining Otherwise," which highlights the lives and practices of five Southeast Asian women artists—Imelda Cajipe‑Endaya, Nirmala Dutt, Amanda Heng, Dolorosa Sinaga, and Phaptawan Suwannakudt—whose work intertwines art, activism, and community building. The exhibition is open throughout the day and serves as a starting point for several International Women’s Day activities.

On March 8, visitors can enjoy free Power Activities, including tarot‑inspired Power Card Readings and colour analysis sessions, available to the first visitors who attend the exhibition. Wellness‑focused programmes such as Strength and Suppleness Yoga and Sunset Yoga and Sound Bath invite gentle movement and guided reflection in both indoor and rooftop settings.

The programme also includes ticketed experiences such as "The Powers That Shape Us," a panel discussion co‑organised with AWARE, exploring how policies affecting women in Singapore have evolved, as well as "Sculpting Her World: The Art of Dora Gordine," which examines the artist’s life and legacy through film screenings and conversation.

Throughout the week, selected dining venues within the Gallery offer exclusive International Women’s Day menus, and visitors can participate in a lucky draw tied to exhibition visits and social media engagement.
