River Hongbao 2026 invites visitors to celebrate the Year of the Horse and 40 years of this iconic Chinese New Year festival from Feb. 15-24, 2026, at Gardens by the Bay. Enjoy free admission to a lively, family-friendly celebration filled with artfully crafted lantern displays, cultural performances, festive food, and interactive exhibits that showcase the rich heritage of the festival.
Explore 14 stunning lantern installations across Golden Garden, Supertree Grove, The Meadow, Dragonfly Lake, and SG50 Lattice, including the beloved God of Fortune lantern and the floral Wishing Heart lantern, creating a magical atmosphere for reflection and celebration. The festival also features nightly themed performances ranging from the internationally acclaimed Gansu Provincial Performance Troupe to local favorites, offering a variety of entertainment including Movie Night, Getai Night, and Xinyao Night.
Families and friends can enjoy thrilling amusement rides at Supertree Grove, such as the Double-Storey Horse Carousel, Space Shuttle, Mini Viking, and Texas Train, along with classic carnival games.
