Sakura feat. Sanrio Characters at Gardens by the Bay

Sakura feat. Sanrio Characters celebrates its 11th edition at Gardens by the Bay's Flower Dome, showcasing the rich heritage of Japan’s Ishikawa Prefecture from Friday, 13 Mar, to Wednesday, 15 Apr 2026, daily from 9AM - 9PM. Held in partnership with the Embassy of Japan in Singapore, this enchanting display features over 30 varieties of cherry, peach, and plum blossoms in soft pinks, whites, and deep hues.

Wander through recreated historic districts inspired by Ishikawa, including a geisha quarter with wooden chaya buildings and lattice façades, plus an Edo-era samurai residence modeled after the Nomura family estate in Kanazawa. Discover traditional crafts like lacquerware, gold leaf, dyed kimono textiles, and regional arts on display. Kawaii Sanrio characters such as Hello Kitty and My Melody add playful charm throughout.

Inspired by Kenrokuen, one of Japan’s Three Great Landscape Gardens, the exhibit includes a blossom-canopied bridge over a serene pond and a walk-through rain feature evoking Ishikawa’s wet climate. Admission requires a Flower Dome ticket, immersing visitors in samurai spirit, geisha elegance, and floral splendor.
