Calling all racing enthusiasts and thrill seekers alike, get ready to dive headfirst into the world of speed, precision, and a good adrenaline rush as the Formula One Grand Prix will fill the Marina Bay Street Circuit with the roar of engines this year.

The Formula 1 Singapore Airline Singapore Grand Prix 2023 race, slated for Sept. 15-17, will be the official 16th round of the season for the Formula One World Championship.

For the uninitiated and first-time spectators, the first two days of the event are for practice runs, and the official racing competition falls on the third day. If you’re feeling overwhelmed with so much F1-related information, fret not! Here’s a quick guide to check out before the race kicks off.

Track Length

Considering the ongoing construction at The Float in Marina Bay, the racetrack is shorter with a span of 4.928 kilometres and features 19 turns for a total of 63 laps.

Getting to the Venue

Expect a high number of road closures throughout this three-night event; hence, riding a taxi or a private car is not the most convenient way to get to the Marina Bay Circuit. It is recommended to take the MRT and alight at one of the following stations:

  • City Hall Station (Gate 3)
  • Raffles Place Station (Gates 4, 5, and 6)
  • Esplanade Station (Gate 7)
  • Promenade Station (Gate 2)
  • Bayfront Station (Gate 8)
  • Nicoll Highway Station (Gate 1)

Tickets

The Formula One Singapore Grand Prix offers two main ticket options: Walkabout and Grandstand.

Ticketholders of Walkabout or Premier Walkabout are eligible to choose their viewing area anywhere in Zones 1-4. This ticket grants the holder access to food and beverage kiosks dotted along Circuit Park. Tickets for the Zone 4 Walkabout can only be used within that zone; however, they are ideal for those who wish to attend concerts in F1 Village. On the other hand, Grandstand tickets have designated seating along the trackside. Tickets are selling fast! Hurry and get yours here.
