Calling all Formula 1 fans! The Singapore Grand Prix might still be months away, but you can now meet up with your fellow F1 enthusiasts and rev up your engines before the race at the RevUpSG Festival!

For the die-hard fans, you can soon find out what’s happening behind the scenes during races as RevUpSG offers an exclusive tour of the F1 Pit Building, which will include the highly restricted areas along the Marina Bay Street Circuit, the Race Control Room, and the Media Centre.

Oh, and you’ll also get a chance to take pics at the podium, so be sure to charge your phones and cameras before the behind-the-scenes tour! Aside from that, you can also stride at the actual grounds where famous racers walk during the Pit-Lane Walk.

Now, to the most exciting part, there will be a karting challenge that will take place on Aug. 3 and 4 at The Palawan @ Sentosa HyperDrive with two categories: one for ages nine to 17 and another for 18 years old and above.

The top 10 racers from the qualifying round on Aug. 3 will move forward to compete for a spot on the podium the following day. What’s in it for you? Well, you’ll get to win exclusive tickets to the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2024, along with some exclusive Red Bull merch and The Palawan @ Sentosa vouchers!

The #RevUpSG Karting Challenge is open to locals who are at least 140 cm tall. These activities are taking place until September, but they will require interested racers to join the ballot here until July 14.

But just in case luck is not on your side, don’t worry as there will be several pop-up festivals on three weekends from July 27 to Sept. 1! Here, you can expect interactive activities like racing in open cockpit cars, live screenings of the Belgian, Dutch, and Italian Grands Prix, and more! These pop-up festivals will take place on the following dates and venues:

  • July 27 and 28 at Suntec City
  • Aug. 24 and 25 at One Punggol
  • Aug. 31 and Sept. 1 at Toa Payoh HDB Hub
