USS Brings Netflix's 'Sweet Home' to life at Halloween Horror Nights 2024
Be prepared for a terrifying night spectacle as Halloween Horror Nights returns for their 12th year at Universal Studios Singapore this September— bringing another hit Netflix series into their hair-raising zones.
Netflix’s “Sweet Home” is set to make its debut as one of the park’s themed haunted houses. This is the third time Universal Studios Singapore has collaborated with the streaming service, having staged haunted houses for the apocalyptic K-drama “All of Us Are Dead” and the popular American sci-fi horror drama, “Stranger Things.”
“Sweet Home” stars Hallyu actor Song Kang as Cha Hyun-su, a high school student trying to survive a world being ravaged by monsters. The series aired in 2020 with the third and final season on the way, set to premiere on Netflix on July 19.
Park-goers can expect to be transported into the creepy hallways of the apocalyptic show with Halloween Horror Nights set to recreate key locations from the series such as the basement of Green Home and Cha Hyun-su’s apartment.
Resorts World Sentosa, the home of Universal Studios Singapore, expresses their excitement for the upcoming event. Markham Gannon, RWS director of entertainment, said in a statement to the press: “Every haunted house experience is our creative spin on the source material while staying true to its essence, and Sweet Home is no exception. Korean horror is something that resonates well with our fans and we can’t wait to take Halloween Horror Nights to new, frightful heights.”
Halloween Horror Nights will run on select nights from Sept 27 to Nov 2, 2024. Tickets go on sale on Aug 13 at their official website. Want to be the first to know? Sign up for their newsletter to get updates!
