23 Grand Prix Races Confirmed for Formula One 2023

A new season means it’s almost time to “brake” down some brakes!

International racing competition Formula One has revealed its calendar for the 2023 FIA Formula One World Championship. The F1 Singapore Grand Prix will be happening on Sept. 15-17.

The F1 Singapore Grand Prix features three free practice (FP) sessions. The FP1 and FP2 will be conducted on Sept. 15, while the final practice or FP3 and qualifying race are set for Sept. 16. The formal race will take place on Sept. 17.

The 2023 F1 calendar features 23 races compared to the 22 that took place last year. With the addition of the Las Vegas Grand Prix, there will now be three races in the United States, including Austin and Miami.

Initially, there were supposed to be 24 races this year, but the Chinese Grand Prix was postponed due to the COVID-19 situation, while the Russian Grand Prix was permanently cancelled because of the ongoing conflict with Ukraine.

The F1 2023 edition will kick off on March 5 in Bahrain and will conclude in Abu Dhabi on Nov. 26. View the full 2023 F1 calendar here.
