In a blink-and-you’ll-almost-miss-it announcement, lo-fi hip-hop artist and meme icon JOJI has announced a performance at the upcoming Clockenflap Festival as a stop on the Asian leg of his ‘PANDEMONIUM’ World tour. He is slated to perform solo on the Sunday of the festival.

Announced just shy of a week ago, the first act confirmed for the December Clockenflap Festival is Japanese band Atarashii Gakko!, as reported by NME. The J-pop group will be performing on the Saturday of the festival.

Scheduled to run from Dec. 1 to 3, the winter edition of Clockenflap Arts & Music Festival will serve as the festival’s second run in 2023.

The first edition was held at the Central Harbourfront Space in March, with headliners including Brit-rock icons Arctic Monkeys, the French band Phoenix, Canadian crooners Men I Trust, as well as regional artists like Thai indie-pop duo HYBS, pop girl group CHAI from Japan, amongst local performers like N.Y.P.D, Arches, and more. The festival’s run in march marked an end to the four-year absence of Clockenflap from the Hong Kong music scene and sold out within a few days.

Stay tuned for more details and the full lineup of the upcoming December Clockenflap Arts & Music Festival 2023!
