Free Shuttle Between Hua Lam Pong and Krung Thep Aphiwat on Jan. 19

Here’s some good news, Thai commuters!

To make travelling easier and seamless for Bangkokians, the State Railway of Thailand (SRT) and the Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA) will offer a free shuttle service between Hua Lam Pong Station and Krung Thep Aphiwat Station on Thursday, Jan. 19.

Six blue NGV buses will transit between the two train stations every 30 minutes. The first shuttle will depart Krung Thep Aphiwat Station at 12 PM, while the last bus will leave at 11 PM.

Starting Friday, Jan. 20, the free shuttle service will run between 4:30 AM and 11 PM.

The BTMA said it will deploy additional staff at both train stations to guide and make commuters aware of the change.

Servicing thousands of locals and tourists every day, Hua Lam Pong and Krung Thep Aphiwat are the capital’s main stations.
