Bangkok Design Week makes its highly anticipated comeback from Jan. 29–Feb. 8, 2026, inviting the city to explore how creativity can help us adapt, endure, and thrive. Now in its ninth edition, the festival unfolds across key creative districts including Charoen Krung–Talat Noi, Phra Nakhon, Pak Khlong Talat, Yaowarat, Bang Pho, Phrom Phong, Hua Lamphong, Bang Lamphu–Khao San, and Phra Khanong–Bang Na, with additional pop-up venues appearing throughout Bangkok.
This year’s theme, “Design S/O/S,” reframes design as a survival tool for uncertain times. The concept is anchored on three pillars: Secure Domestic, championing local design for global competitiveness; Outreach Opportunities, opening pathways for international collaboration; and Sustainable Future, encouraging new ways to navigate social, economic, and environmental challenges. Expect exhibitions, talks, workshops, design markets, tours, and creative activations that turn ideas into action across the city.
Free admission makes this 11-day festival an open invitation for designers, creatives, and curious explorers alike to experience Bangkok through its most imaginative lens.

"Ballerina’s Sin" is a solo exhibition by Amornrat Jenpanich, presented from March 7 to 29, 2026, at Gallery/Warehouse 30. The exhibition examines how surfaces carry physical and emotional histories through time.
The artist’s process involves deliberate acts of alteration—scratching, soaking, folding, stitching, and burning—that destabilize materials before reassembling them into new forms. Fire serves as both tool and collaborator, producing scars and absences that record moments of force, chance, and transformation.
These interventions give rise to abstract forms that echo inner landscapes and psychological symmetry, existing between control and collapse. Rather than aiming for resolution or polish, the works embrace fragmentation, decay, and imperfection as sites of meaning.
The exhibition is open Tuesday to Sunday, with an opening reception on March 7 from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The Bangkok Horror Film Festival makes its highly anticipated return for a second edition from March 13–15, 2026, transforming Bangkok into a citywide celebration of fear, suspense, and cinematic imagination. Admission isfree, welcoming both devoted horror fans and curious first‑timers.
This year’s festival unfolds inside the long‑abandoned New World Department Store in Bang Lamphu, a venue whose cavernous interiors and silent corridors heighten the atmosphere of unease. The setting becomes an integral part of the experience, turning architecture itself into a tool for storytelling.
Dedicated entirely to horror cinema, the festival presents a curated lineup of Thai and international feature films, alongside short films by emerging filmmakers. The program spans the full spectrum of the genre, from psychological tension and supernatural folklore to visceral, high‑intensity horror.
Beyond film screenings, the festival expands into an immersive experience with ghost storytelling sessions, a haunted house installation, and interactive activities that blur the line between fiction and reality. The event is co‑organised by Wizard Production, Bangkok Central Cinema, the Thai Film Directors Association, and Documentary Club, underscoring a collaborative effort to support the horror film community.
The festival also continues its short horror film competition, offering a total prize pool of 200,000 baht and screening opportunities for selected works.
