Discover the vibrant artistry of Salin as #HYHBKK Live! with Salin brings her full-length show to Lido Connect on Jan. 9, 2026, from 7 PM onwards. Known for her dynamic fusion of jazz, funk, soul, and Thai folk influences, Salin (Salin Cheewapansri) has carved a unique space in the global music scene. After years of shaping her craft across Thailand, the U.S., and Canada, she now steps into the spotlight in Bangkok for an intimate, immersive performance that traces her extraordinary musical journey.

Born and raised in Thailand, Salin began as a self-taught drummer posting YouTube videos that eventually led her to perform with the legendary Thai grunge band Onaree. Her move to North America opened doors into rock, metal, and jazz circles, ultimately connecting her with Canadian artist Dominique Fils-Aimé, whose Juno-winning album featured Salin’s unmistakable drumming. Her own debut album, “Cosmic Island”, showcased a blend of groove and social consciousness, inspired by her research on river pollution in Thailand. In 2025, she introduced “Rammana”, a powerful exploration of identity and spirit that earned her recognition as one of CBC’s Revelation Artists.

Celebrate this rare chance to witness a boundary-breaking musician returning to share her roots, rhythms, and global sound.
