After a seven-year wait, Siam Carnival Funfair is rolling back into Bangkok, transforming Grand Rama 9 (behind Central Rama 9) into a fun-tastic playground for 17 nights.
Billed as the biggest carnival in Thailand, Siam Carnival Funfair opens today, July 31, and runs until Aug. 16, 2026, with gates open from 5 PM to 10 PM. Entry costs THB15, and each ride runs THB60 per person.
The carnival's centerpiece is a towering Ferris wheel that lights up the skyline. Adrenaline seekers will be pleased to find a compact roller coaster, a spinning Tagada, a Viking swing ship, and a giant robotic octopus ride. Rounding out the lineup are a carousel, a jet-style spinner, a "Crazy Bus" drop ride, and flying bee gondolas.
Beyond the rides, organizers are promising more than 80 food and shopping stalls scattered across the grounds. Families, kids, friends, and couples can enjoy the fair with or without the rides.
The fair's return marks its first run in Bangkok since before the pandemic. Siam Carnival Funfair is presented in partnership with Central Rama 9 and Muang Thai Insurance.
