Fly to the Moon Festival Returns to Koh Mak This December 2026

Get ready for an idyllic countdown to New Year's.
Fly to the Moon Festival is returning to Koh Mak, Thailand, from Dec. 29, 2026 to Jan. 2, 2027, inviting festivalgoers on what organizers describe as "a five-day journey that takes you to the moon and back."
Tickets and accommodation bookings will be available soon, with more details for the 2026-2027 edition expected to follow. While organizers have yet to unveil this year's lineup and programming, visitors can anticipate the festival's signature mix of music, wellness experiences, and island adventures that have defined the event for more than a decade.
Since launching in 2013, Fly to the Moon Festival has evolved into an intimate destination festival set on the peaceful island of Koh Mak. Rather than massive crowds, the event focuses on creating meaningful connections, encouraging guests to explore the island together while enjoying music from artists.
Live performances remain the heart of the festival experience, with multiple stages. Past editions have encouraged attendees to move between venues across the island.
The festival extends beyond the music. Last year's program featured wellness sessions such as yoga and sound healing. If you want to embrace the island lifestyle, pass holders can also take advantage of the complimentary paddleboard rentals. Previous editions also highlighted activities including coral conservation initiatives and cross-island swimming.
For travelers seeking a year-end escape that's a mix of music festival and island retreat, Fly to the Moon Festival offers a refreshing alternative to the usual city fireworks countdown crowds.
